= Description of Coulomb interaction =

In Elegent, the electromagnetic (Coulomb) scattering is calculated in QED within the leading (one photon exchange) approximation. The applicability of this approximation is discussed in the journal publication linked from the [[https://elegent.hepforge.org/|home page]]. The user can choose from several parametrisations of electric and magnetic [[FormFactors|form factors]] of the nucleon.
